What We Do
We provide expertise and experience in all aspects of reinsurance placement and establishing new programs. Our knowledge and practical skills extend not only to Bermuda but to many US states and Europe. Our work includes financial analysis, strategic advice, captive and tax considerations, and reinsurance expertise for existing casualty and low-level property deals for small insurance companies and MGA’s-net worth, as well as other taxation issues for companies and other organizations and their shareholders and executives.
We have a strong Bermuda emphasis, with particular expertise in the establishment of new programs, various types of risk participation, sophisticated deal structuring, and a variety of broking and underwriting services.
Solutions devised and implemented by us include a wide range of structured reinsurance programs, both prospective and retroactive, making use of many a rated (re)insurance companies both in Bermuda and overseas.
Our broking, underwriting, and commercial expertise include advice for businesses on company and reinsurance structures, market issues, and developing new niches, as well as shareholder and tax planning issues and financing. We also advise on contract wordings and on the establishment of new product lines.
